Step back in time and play Tafl, the strategy board game that was as popular as chess in the Middle Ages among Vikings! Choose your side and use your wits to either protect the king or capture him.
How to Play
- Defending (White) Goal: The king (the large central piece) must escape by reaching any square on the edge of the board.
- Attacking (Black) Goal: Capture the king by surrounding him on all four sides (or against the edge of the board).
- All pieces move horizontally or vertically, like a rook in chess.
Pro-Tip: As the defender, try to create an escape route for your king early. Don't let the attackers build a solid wall around you.
